UPC has a variety of service opportunities on multiple different levels. Whether it’s going global, reaching out to our neighborhood, or showing up a little earlier to help set up on Sundays, we welcome everyone who feels led to serve together with us.

Salvation Army Homeless Ministry

We partner with the Santa Monica Salvation Army in packing and handing out lunches at Venice Beach on a Saturday every other month

New Daybreak Convalescent Ministry

We hold Sunday worship services twice a month with the elderly at senior homes in West LA.

New Daybreak Youth Orchestra

Our talented youth orchestra practices on Saturdays and performs once a month in various senior homes. Participating students also receive volunteer service hours for their work.

Global

We seek to bring the good news to all nations. As a University-based church, many of our international alumni go back to their home countries with a vision to continue making disciples of Jesus Christ. We also partner with missionaries and organizations for long-term and short-terms work.

Pray for our missionaries in Thailand who share the gospel through Bible translation work and the production and distribution of gospel recordings.
