Woonghee Lee was born and raised in Korea, and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 2006. He came to UCLA for graduate school that same year and received his M.Arch degree in 2009. During his studies he met his wife, Yumi, and they've been married since 2012! Woonghee enjoys building his relationship with God through prayer, meditation and reading the Bible. He and his wife are endeavoring to implement God’s vision given to their family and enjoy conversation, play, and traveling together.
Byungjoo Lee was baptized at UPC in 2002 and became an elder of UPC in 2015. He got his B.S. in Physics at Seoul National University and got his LL.M. at Harvard Law School. He has been a practicing lawyer for 20 years, endeavoring to integrate the Christian Faith with the reality and toughness of the working life. He started to attend church "only" to marry his wife: a true romance leading a poor, atheistic guy to the true life in Jesus Christ.

Esther amazes us all in the number of things she can juggle - not only does she coordinate all the activities and Bible study lessons for the Children's Ministry, but she is also a mother of four children! Esther graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Christian Education. Esther also helps to organize events for the Convalescent Ministry.
Michael has been leading worship and performing music for over 15 years, and is an ordained pastor. He studied theology at Christ for the Nations Institute and marketing at Dallas Baptist University, and currently studies film & cinematography at Full Sail University. In addition to traditional ministry, Michael launched a nonprofit to promote sustainable resources for children in developing countries. When not working or playing music, he spends time with his wife and 4-year-old.
Kris has been working in student ministry for over 14 years. She studied design at The Dallas Fashion Institute and theology at Christ for the Nations Institute. Kris is a fourth generation baker, a conference speaker, and an author.
Yumi grew up in Hacienda Heights, CA and graduated from UCLA in 2009. After graduation, Yumi worked as an intern and administrator at UPC, married Woonghee in 2012, and became a mom to a beautiful boy named Timothy in 2014. Yumi loves to sing and listen to worship music, spend time with her family, and drink boba milk tea!
Garrison grew up in Odessa, Texas, graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and has worked and served in ministry doing pastoral counseling, community development, preaching/teaching, young adult/college ministry, and international church planting.
Hami grew up in South Korea and Beijing, China and recently graduated from UCLA as psychology major. Hami worked as an intern at UPC last year and is now working as a part-time administrator while doing research and applying for clinical and cognitive psychology PhD programs. Hami loves music, dancing, and spicy food!

Noah was born and raised in Korea, and received B.M in classical vocal music, M.A in intercultural studies, and is currently working on M.Div at Fuller Theological Seminary. He lives with his lovely wife, Jiyun, enjoys hanging out with cell group members, and is a huge Dodger fan (Go Dodgers!).
