UPC Service Ministry
At UPC, we are passionate about serving the Lord by serving others. In addition to serving within
the church, we use the Service Ministry to fulfill God's will in our local community.
Service Ministry Programs:
Convalescent Ministry
-Have an one-hour worship service with the elderly on 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from 2:00-3:00PM.
-Share God's love through music by singing hymns and playing musical instruments.
-Share the word of God through short messages.
Currently we have two teams going to two different convalescent homes:
1) Country Villa Westwood (12121 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025)
2) Brentwood Manor (1449 Wellesley Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90025)
-For carpool, please meet in the Green Room on URC 2nd Floor by 1:30pm.

Salvation Army and Union Rescue Mission Ministry
-Help as we partner with Salvation Army and Union Rescue Mission to serve those who are alienated, in transition, or homeless.
-Take a step of faith in showing God's love by ministering to the families at Salvation Army's Westwood Transitional Village through serving meals, leading activities, arts and crafts, or Bible stories through special events. We also serve meals at Union Rescue Mission on Skid Row.
