What are Cell Groups?
Cell groups are like the cells in our bodies. Cells are the basic
building blocks of every person. In the same way, our cell groups are
the basic building blocks of our church. Cells are made to multiply and
serve various functions within the body. Similarly, cell groups are
designed to multiply themselves, to minister to the church, to themsevles,
and to people nearby.
A cell group nurtures the unique essence of Christ within its members; the
group shares that life with the people around them. As we grow, the groups
multiply, allowing the body of Christ to also grow.
All cell groups meet weekly to seek God, to love one another and to serve
the people around them. Since different people have different needs, we've
created a variety of cell groups. Each one focuses on the needs and circumstances
of the people at UCLA and the surrounding community.
How do I get involved in a Cell Group?
Just take a look at the schedule below and find a cell group that fits your interests
and your schedule! We love having new people come visit. Even if you're not sure if
cell groups are right for you, you're under no obligation if you come... you're welcome
to just try it out!
We'll gladly hook you up with the leaders of the cells!
