The first choir rehearsal of the year will be on October 14th. We meet between first and second service at 12:30pm to 1:30pm Sunday afternoon in the URC red room.
Our choir enjoys a relaxed rehearsal atmosphere and we welcome anyone who enjoys singing, even if
they haven't sung in a choir before. Being able to read music will help but is not
mandatory. We sing a mix of classic choral anthems, hymns, contemporary worship songs
and gospel.
We perform about once a month in the morning service and in special worship
services e.g. Christmas & Easter. Time commitment is about 2 hours/week (1 hour choir
rehearsal and about 1 hour individual practice).
